In Honor Of Father's Day: Ten Hot Celebrity Dads (starpulse wrote)

President Obama

In honor of Father’s Day on June 19, we're counting down the Hottest Celebrity Dads.
President Barack Obama
Whether you’re are a republican, a democrat or an independent, there is no denying that President Barack Obama, father to Malia, 12, and Sasha, 10, is the dapperest of dads.  Whether he’s wearing power suits on Air Force One or rocking dad jeans at a Wizards game, the First Father always makes me proud to be an American.

Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn Rimes
Eddie Cibrian
I was a fan of the ridiculously hot Eddie Cibrian and his dimples years before his new wife, LeAnn Rimes, stopped singing…and eating.  It started with a short-lived, whacky soap called “Sunset Beach” (1997-1999) and peaked during “Third Watch” (1999-2005), where Cibrian played a New York City firefighter.  Yes, the man was in uniform for six glorious seasons!  In the fall, this buff dad of two boys—Mason, 8 and Jake, 4—will step back to into the swinging ‘60s in the period drama, “The Playboy Club.”  For once, I am excited to watch something on NBC.

Brad Pitt; Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt
Oscar-nominee Brad Pitt, 47, had me at hello…or at least from the first viewing of the epically romantic “Legends Of The Fall” (1994).  This accomplished actor is as generous as he is sexy, donating millions to charities ranging from relief for the victims of Hurricane Katrina to Doctors Without Borders.  He is also the father of six children with girlfriend Angelina Jolie (Maddox, 9; Pax 7; Zahara, 6; Shiloh, 5; Knox and Vivienne, 2).  It’s great to see that Pitt and Jolie are setting an example for their children by helping others on a global scale.  I almost wish they would adopt me.

Will, Jada, Jaden, Willow Smith
Will Smith
Actor and rapper Will Smith is definitely one of the freshest fathers in Hollywood.  Dad Tre,19, Jaden, 12, and Willow, 10, Will Smith, 42, is just as charismatic as ever.  This Oscar-nominee and Grammy winner clearly passed his prized genes to his children.  Jaden has scored box office gold on the silver screen in “The Karate Kid” (2010).  Willow has become Lady Gaga for pre-teens with her hit singles “Whip My Hair” and “21st Century Girl.”

Matt Damon
Matt Damon
Dads of daughters are usually quite protective.  Matt Damon, father of Alexia, 8, (from wife, Luciana’s, previous marriage); Isabella, 5; Gia, 2; Stella, 8 mos., is freaking Jason Bourne—amnesiac spy and master languages, martial arts, and killing baddies with inanimate objects.  As intelligent as he is handsome, Oscar-winner Matt Damon, 40, is one of Hollywood’s best and most charming actors.  I can say his four little girls are very lucky to have him as a father, and their future dates definitely are not.

Neil Patrick Harris
Neil Patrick Harris
There is nothing sexier than a man with a sense of humor, and because of this, I have major crush on Neil Patrick Harris, 37.  Harris and partner David Burtka became fathers to twins, Harper and Gideon, 8 mos., via surrogate.  I bet the adorable babies are already laughing up a storm at the antics of their hysterical dad.
A former child actor, Harris has matured into a comedic force with his fantastic and hysterical performance as a suit-loving playa, Barney Stinson, on CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother.”  He also recently killed as host of the 65th annual Tony Awards.  Harris will also bring a childhood classic to life in the live-action family movie, “The Smurfs,” in theaters on July 29.
PINK, Carey Hart
Carey Hart
If you think it would take a tough man to get out-spoken rocker Pink (nee Alecia Moore) to the altar, then you’re right.  Carey Hart, a freestyle motorcycle motorcross racer and entrepreneur, married Pink in 2006.  The couple experienced bumps early in their marriage, but reunited.  They are now celebrating the birth of daughter Willow Sage on June 2.  With sleeves full of ink, a serious need for speed, and a surprisingly sweet demeanor, this badass new dad has a heart of gold.

Orlando Bloom
Orlando Bloom
I’m not going to lie and say that I don’t feel the smallest twinge of disappointment when one of my favorite male celebs gets married.   But when that actor is as beautiful and mysterious as Orlando Bloom, 34, that twinge may as well be a stab wound.  “The Pirates of the Caribbean” married Victoria’s Secret model, Miranda Kerr, and is also a father to Flynn, 6 mos.  Although he is off the market, seeing him in the new role of proud poppa makes my heart melt in all the right ways.

Scott Caan

Detective Danny Williams, Hawaii Five-0
Technically, the next hot dad is a television character on the CBS cop show, “Hawaii Five-0” brought to sarcastic life by actor Scott Caan, 34 (son to award-winning actor, James Caan).  Still, Detective Danny Williams deserves to win top honors in fatherhood.  After his divorce, Williams left his beloved state of New Jersey to move to Hawaii to spend weekends with his daughter, Grace.  While some celebrity fathers having children with their mistresses (Arnold Schwarzenegger), this daddy is sacrificing everything just to be a parent.  Fictional or not, that is the hottest thing of all.

Seal, Heidi Klum
Seal
British crooner, Seal, 48, is the patriarch of Hollywood’s most fun families.  Married to supermodel, “Project Runway” host, and fashion risk-taker, Heidi Klum, Seal and Klum have a brood of gorgeous babes: Leni, 7 (adopted by the singer in 2009); Henry, 5; Johan, 4; Lou, 2.   Whether they are renewing their vows annually or going trick o’ treating as a family, this clan always appears to be having a ball.
