With the heart of charity, Influx Swagga a Kenyan Musician, actor, model and writer decided to give back to the community. That’s how the Influx Foundation was formed in 2008. He may not have had much to give but he was quite sure that he shared the dream with a million other charity hearten. It is managed by Jamox talent Network, the reach out arm of the Jamox Complex since they have a better chance of getting to his potential beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries of this foundation must be less-privileged and extremely talented. They are people who can never afford to showcase their talents to the world, simply because they lack the platform. He believes that this people have a second life to live. They did not choose how to live and given a chance, they can choose a better life. This foundation does not limit talent, but the beneficiary must at least have a sports, creative arts and performing arts talent to qualify. Different beneficiaries have different needs. We may decide to empower the beneficiary to meet the market standards and forward them to the market as per what we find his/her need is, this is the principle of not just giving fish, but teaching them how to fish. We are also highly investing in education because Influx believes it is the key to success and a major formula to poverty elimination in Africa. He says that an educated person can never be compared to another person who has never experienced a prison of the four walls of a classroom, even though this is limited by the age factor.

When Mrs. Elizabeth Hassan wrote a letter to him on her willingness to donate 10.8 Million Great Britain Pounds Sterling for charity in Africa, he had to form a new base for the foundation even though it did not undo its initial plan of helping only the extremely talented. This fund was derived from Mrs. E. Hassan’s husband (The great Sir Hassan) vast estates and investment in capital market with his bank in UK. She was dying of cancerous ailment and she had no children. “I have decided to donate this funds to you and want you to use this gift which comes from my husbands effort to fund the upkeep of widows, widowers, orphans, destitute, the down- trodden, physically challenged children, barren-women and persons who prove to be genuinely handicapped financially” she wrote. The foundation took it her way to include even older beneficiaries in the list. Nobody knows what happened to Mrs. Hassan after she had linked the Influx foundation to her attorney Mr. Barrister J. Robinson But the fund did not make it to Kenya.
Influx did not give up on this foundation; he sets the standards to other celebrities to give back to the community. He has donated a 20% of the sales of his three music albums (Ndani Yangu, Swagga Flani and Last Episode) to the foundation. He will also donate the same percentage to the foundation on publishing of his books (Enslaved In freedom, Blood Murder and My Money In Your Bank).
