Artist Bio

Music hit his heart at a tender age of 12. He is from a family of music way from his Great grandparents coming to face with the fact that his grandfather was given a (free) wife when he impressed her father with music. This great talent was passed to his father. He has composed pieces that have been performed to the levels of presidential ceremonies in state house. Then, he comes in, with a multiplication of talents: a rapper, writer, model and actor. He is still known as the king of the undefined. He was like a good boy gone bad in the eyes of many after he started going the hiphop way which was unacceptable in Kenya back then. He loves doing his thing to the best of his ability. Musically, he has a crazy slogan of “Mziki N afanyia Justice Bila Hata Practice,” which means, “I do justice to music even without practice.” He has the fastest exploding fan base across the world simply because his Music goes beyond the limits of style and the fact that he is multi talented. That’s the definition of INFLUX SWAGGA.

He  recorded with Calif Records before going in full time recording and performing with sonic sounds entertainment in Kenya. Since, Influx has raised his album belt count to three,(Now Recording His 4^th – “Wazito” which is a Swahili word meaning Heavy People) with his first album “Ndani Yangu” a successful count. Swagga Flani and Last Episode are albums that have taken the market by storm with their songs rising to the top of Music charts in Kenyan Fm radio stations. He becomes the first Kenyan artiste to release a successful double album. He brings together great music styles like Hiphop, RnB, reggae, Genge, Kapuka among others forming a universal uniting style of Unganika Music, driven from a Swahili word which means unity. Besides Music, he is also a top actor, model, and writer having written Enslaved In freedom, Blood Murder and My Money In Your Bank.(now writing Face To Face With Fame)

The artiste also runs a Foundation which goes under his Name (The Influx Foundation) where he is the president and founder. He has donated 20% of his talent income to this foundation including Music albums, Movie and book sales, modeling and advertising commissions and other hidden income which comes with talent. This foundation helps the less-privileged but extremely talented. It focuses on education for the African Kid and also building their lives to better their future with the slogan of Talent for a better Africa. He is also the president of the Multi – Billion project of the Jamox Complex which has five major elements (departments) including the Jamox Talent Network, Jamox wear, Swaggahood , Jamox  Edit and Jamox Securities.

By the time he was 17 years old, he had won the hearts of many in live performances and talent shows. He then landed at Clemmos studio Calif Records the home of Genge music hence acquiring the famous Genge extension as INFLUX GENGE. He managed to record and published two songs from calif records, ongea dada and promise which brought a certain extra ordinary sensation earning him a mass of fans across the world and latter leading to his nomination for the most promising African artiste in a Germany awards.He then noticed he was beyond his annual plan of having an album before the end of the year and started a record label Jamox International Edit (J.I.E) under the multi-billion project of the Jamox Complex and released a mini album of the Ndani yangu album with his record label.
Sonic sound then noticed his potential of greater heights and signed him up. There, He compled and publishing the full version of the Ndani Yangu album(which has been withdrawn from the market for reloading). The album contained hit songs like Ongea Dada and promise by Calif records, Pamoja and no longer from sonic sounds then Wazim and last night from J.I.E.
While in sonic sound he Recorded two albums simultaneously, “Swagga Flani and Last Episode” Swagga Flani is a dedication to Kenya, his mother land having Included the Instrumental Version of the national anthem. Other songs featured are a various artiste song called Mabadiliko, Nikubalie, Mr President and Nayo Nayo a song with has brought him to limelight lately. It features songs that can be listens across the ages.
Last Episode is another album full of controversy; This album is a dedication to all his TRUE FANS. It features songs like Chokoza reply ft Ejay a song replied to the original version Of chokoza by Evril and Marya, nilijua utacall, Utakuja Lini, Ndiyo hiyo ft Pattonee, Roll dj feat Keygun who is also a producer with sonic sounds and kwachua a song with has ruled the Kenyan charts for the last not less than 18 months among others. This album mainly features music for the urban youth and clubbing.  No other Kenyan artiste has ever managed to do a double album; he is the first and most probably the last.
