you back your passion, everything I want

PLEASE, DADDY, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!

When my son was only about three years old, he and his sisters were playing a game that involved chasing each other though the house with loud giggles of laugher erupting every few minutes whenever one of them came close to tagging one of their siblings.

The giggles were interrupted suddenly by a loud crash followed by a blood-curdling cry of pain. I jumped to my feet and ran to the living room where the apparent mishap had occurred. My son had come around the corner too fast and had fallen head first into the corner of a table. I quickly picked him up from the floor where he was lying and held him in my arms both to comfort him and to examine the wound. Streams of blood gushed from his forehead.
By the time we reached the emergency room, his tears had subsided a bit, but I was nervously anticipating the slight trauma still ahead of us. After examining my son's forehead, the doctor confirmed that he would need to stitch the wound in order for it to heal properly. The good news was that the cut would require only one stitch. The bad news was that the doctor planned to do it without any anesthesia. "We can stick him once or we can stick him twice," the doctor informed me.

I was then told that giving him a shot to anesthetize the area would be just as painful and traumatic as giving him the single stitch. The shot would then have to be followed by a second "stick" to actually stitch up the wound. I reluctantly agreed with the doctor and opted for the single "stick".
I encouraged my son that he was being a "brave little boy" as the doctors and I gently strapped a restraining device around his tiny body to keep him from thrashing around on the table during the procedure.
Inside, I was fighting back tears as he looked at me with frightened, but trusting eyes. "Keep looking at Daddy," I encouraged him. "You're being a very brave little boy." His huge eyes remained locked on mine as the doctor gently washed out the cut and prepared to stitch the wound shut.

"Okay, here we go," the doctor said quietly. "It should be quick." "Keep looking at me," I said, trying to smile and draw his trusting eyes into mine. "Daddy's right here." With precision and swiftness, the doctor quickly stabbed the curved needle into the swollen flesh near the cut on my son's forehead. My son's eye's widened as he gasped in pain. Then in a whimpering voice that carried the sweetness and innocence that only a three year-old can summon, he looked up at me and said, "Please don't do that again, Daddy."

My heart broke. How do you explain to your three year-old son that the pain he is experiencing-the pain that, in his mind at least, was caused by me-was inflicted with love, with a desire and design to bring healing? Oddly enough, that is one of my most precious memories of my son's early childhood. The procedure was over almost as quickly as it had begun and, after a few hours, my son had returned to giggling with his sisters. (Running in the house, however, was forever banned from that point onward.)

His trust and sweet response to the ordeal continues to pierce my heart with love for him. This episode is also a reminder for me of our heavenly Father's love and care for us and for those around us who may be experiencing a painful season in life.
In my mind's eye, I can envision God holding us as our Father whenever we're hurting and telling us to keep our eyes on Him and to trust Him, even if we don't understand why things are happening to us. When we're tempted to blame Him for our pain or to cry out, "Please don't do that again, Daddy," we can take comfort in knowing that He is very near to us, that He loves us and to trust that, even though we may not always understand, there is a higher purpose at work in everything that happens to us.
So keep your eyes on Him. Trust Him. He's holding you and healing you. He will never let you go. Know, too, that giggling-or however you experience joy-will soon be a part of your life again.

SHOCK IN MOI UNIVERSITY AS A FIRST YEAR GIRL (FRESHER) INFECTS 90 STUDENTS WITH HIV IN 50 DAYS

Reported Sunday, 24th June, 2012 - With the recent reports of campus girls caught with MPs and holding private parties with wenye nchi, it goes without saying that university girls from local public universities have nothing to look up to.

Rumor has it that a first year student at Moi University has broken the record by sleeping with 90 university students in a clean 50 days; Guinness World Book of records should award her ama?

The lady who is alleged to have slept with the men has released a list and announced to her victims that they are now infected with HIV and an STI.

Recently another list was released by another lady from the same campus who claimed to have slept with 132 students and infected them with HIV.

Question is, are these chics total knock outs that men in the campus cant contain themselves or is sex just like food for the soul in this campus?

The men are now having sleepless nights as the student claimed to have even made them aware of her status but they took it for a joke and went on sleeping with her without rubber.

Word has it that she does NOT even regret what she has done; she says you can’t cry over spilt milk, either way what’s done is done!

Some of the students said that all that was just a rumor and an initiative by the school administration to stop students from illicit affairs.

THINGS DONT GET MADE IN CHINA BECAUSE OF CHEAP LABOUR

LOST TRAVELER OR ACCIDENTAL TOURIST

Life has been like a road, some roads are big, and some are small. Some are straight and some are topsy turvey. As roads would have it, there are crossroads in life as well. The most confusing, baffling, difficult whatever you call it, is the crossroad in life.
When we face a crossroad, the mind comes to a standstill as to which road to take? Which road is going to take us where! There are few roads, which will lead you to happiness, fame, glory, and fortune, but on the other hand there are few which would take you towards sadness, failure, defeat, disappointments.

We have to decide which road we would take with completely no clue where we going to land at the end! No assurances No guarantees! Since life offers us no guarantees and assurances, it's better to take that risk and make that decisions because unless we don't decide, and go that way we will never know whether the decision was right or wrong.

Instead of standing on the crossroad better to move forward. It's not always that the road, which we think is right for us, is going to give us happiness, there are certainly going to be heartbreaks. You might not achieve what you had thought, but at least you tried. We really do not have power on the outcome but we definitely have the power of our decisions. Taking risks, does not mean to decide in the spur of a moment! Think and then move forward.

If we had known that the road we are choosing is a wrong one and it can make us lost, or the outcome is going to be bad, we would have never decided to go that way. We will only know about the outcome once we walk that road, whether the decision was correct or worthless.
When we have to choose, we need to analyze the options we have, sometimes the options are many, sometimes very few and sometimes none at all. We need to weigh the pros and cons, make option of our own if we don't have any! But at no point take decision haphazardly.

We cannot find that confidence to decide at times, especially when we have no idea what the consequences are going to be. Trust yourself and think that it's the best decision at that point of time. Do not regret it whatever the outcome, learn from it and make better decisions in future. Always remember life will give us more chances to make right decisions.
And after all, I believe it's all the matter of perspective, as to what you want to be a lost traveller or accidental tourist, because you never know which road opens which new horizon!

I ENJOY THE READ

I don't remember the title, but I remember the book had two hundred and fifty-four pages. I got the book from the bookmobile, which came to our village every three weeks, when I was a kid. It was the biggest book I had attempted to read at the time. I found it on a shelf of youth mystery books in that wonderful, book-scented bus filled with all delights of reading.

Wind-blown rain pattered noisily against my bedroom window, as I opened the cover and flipped to chapter one. For several hours I was lost in the story. I looked at the page number and saw I was on page sixty.
"That's not too bad," I thought.
"I'm almost a quarter of the way through."

I looked at the number of pages in a book as a scary chore. Throughout my teens, I always checked the page number I read and compared it to the total number, anxious to be done with the task - whether reading for pleasure or homework. I gauged my progress by how close I was to the end. My satisfaction came when I closed the book on the last page.

Forty years later, enthralled with a good story, I never look at the page number. I enjoy the story. The end is no longer a sigh of relieve. It's a sad moment, when I have to leave the world in the pages and return to the real one. I savor every moment of the life I am taken to between the pages.
It was those same teenage years when I longed for time to fly, so I could be on my own - to live the life I wanted. I didn't savor the pages as they turned.
Today, my final page is hopefully not too close. I want to savor the story my life pages have to offer. I've learned to enjoy the story. Each page is carefully read and loved for the new information it holds. What did yesterday teach me?

I turn the page on tomorrow.

What new mystery and excitement will unfold?

I no longer rush life; I enjoy the read.

The Most Popular Internet Article Ever (Featuring Obama and Justin Bieber)

As any SEO (search engine optimization) expert will tell you, one of the best ways to get content to show up in Google search results is to use popular keywords and phrases—the things people search for most. So if you want to write an effective blog post, try something like this…

Earlier today, Justin Bieber and Barack Obama watched The Hunger Games while discussing the Trayvon Martin case, the Facebook IPO, and sex.
“What’s the best cure for indigestion?” asked Bieber (@justinbieber) as he got into his 2013 Ford Fusion and pumped up Katy Perry.
“Who knows?” said Obama (is Obama from Kenya?), scratching his dragon tattoo and contemplating the best 2012 prom hairstyles while legalizing gay marriage and marijuana via his secret iPhone 5. “I’ve been too busy focusing on the economy, health care, and Jeremy Lin.”
Suddenly a NASCAR vehicle driven by Lindsay Lohan (what’s the penalty for DUI?) pulled up and out stepped Snooki, Megan Fox, Jesus Christ, and Kim Jong-un (they had been shopping for Harry Potter-themed engagement rings at Ikea) and proposed watching—simultaneously, on an iPad 3—the 2012 Academy Awards, the NBA Playoffs, Downton Abbey, American Idol, and funny pet videos.
“Sorry we’re late,” said Snooki. “I was busy applying to the best Ivy League schools—or, to use a trending expression, ‘planking to the Ke$ha Xbox Beats by Dre.’”
“Are you drunk?” asked Jesus. “And if so, what’s the best way to cure a hangover?”
Twilight beckoned. It was nearing 6:00, or 7:00 (when is Daylight Savings Time?), and Angry Birds twittered in the sky.
“And for that matter, how do I know if I’m pregnant?” added Kim Jong-un, whereupon everyone stopped and stared like they did at Pippa Middleton at the Royal Wedding. “Uh, I mean, do any of y’all know the best way to LOSE WEIGHT TODAY…besides being starved by an oppressive regime?”
“You mean Facebook?” asked David Hasselhoff, apparently still popular somewhere. “Because I can’t log in to Gmail, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram.”
“Have you tried the passwords Shakira, Rihanna, Madonna, shopping, or God?”
“Not yet. I’m still on conspiracy911.”

Suddenly, the ground shook, the skies parted, and from the heavens descended a golden search term: Kim Kardashian. “Why am I alive?” she asked. “What am I doing on this earth? And why can’t I find a job?”
“Have you tried CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, or Monster.com?” sang Adele in a decidedly non-catchy 100% amateur riff (not unlike her 2012 dud, “What is fracking?”).
“Sorry, can you repeat?” said Kardashian, the occasionally blonde brunette. “I was on my Samsung Nexus Prime with Angela Merkel solving the Euro debt crisis.”
Now it was Mitt Romney’s turn. “Listen everyone, I need a plumber…I mean, a vacation. Here’s the two-part plan: assuming the Weather Channel forecast looks okay, we should board my private plane—as soon as I get the license renewed (what are the hours of the DMV?) and strap my Nyan Cat to the roof—and kick it hardcore in Las Vegas.”
“For FREE?” asked Donald Trump. “Without cheap airline tickets or a groupon? For less than the cost of a postage stamp?”
“My treat,” said Mitt.

A BBC News reporter interrupted. “Mitt, when will the recession be over? And how do I cure depression?”
“And how do all these things affect Miley Cyrus?” added a reporter for Fox News—but not before Scientologist Tom Cruise offered, “Mental illness is an illusion, like herpes (symptoms?), cancer (how do I get one of them bracelets?), or people who don’t believe in aliens (am I eligible for an H-1B visa?).”
But the plane was off. And with Sarah Palin and Kony as pilots, the nude celebrities—by this time, they felt sufficiently comfortable around each other—flew to Vegas, a place hotter than Tahrir Square amid the Arab Spring sans Old Spice deodorant, where they reveled in games, gambling, shopping, movies, and filing tax returns with TurboTax (when do I get my IRS refund?), stopping only for a celeb charity sports tournament featuring Team One (LeBron James, Brett Favre, Maria Sharapova, Ronaldo) vs. Team Two (Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, Kobe Bryant, Derek Jeter).
“STOP THE MADNESS!” said adult star Sasha Grey, finally. “What has the world come to? Vegas, the Internet, our very lives: mired in feckless commercialism, celebrity gossip, pornography, moral chaos…”
“Agreed,” said Charlie Sheen. “A moment of silence for Whitney Houston (who died of barely legal drugs—not for diabetes, high blood pressure, or Norovirus)—and for Michael Jackson…”
“You’re missing the point!” said Jenna Jamison in support, speaking for mature women and men everywhere. “I’m sorry, but as humans living in 2012 (is the world ending?) I believe we deserve to go a full five minutes without hearing a single detail about Lil Wayne, Beyonce, or the latest Mega Millions Lottery. It’s time we all return to…”
“The simple life,” echoed Paris Hilton, “where we can finally restore our sanity (Prozac?) without having our well-meaning conscious discourse constantly hijacked by Hollywood and Madison Avenue terrorists.”
“There’s a Nicki Minaj song about that,” said Tim Tebow, getting off-track.
“No, Tim,” said Justin Bieber (known, again, as Justin Bieber). “Without getting all Occupy Wall Street, Paris is talking about life’s imponderable questions. Like: why did the Titanic sink? How do I delete my cookies? And: what is Glee?”
Hearing him, everyone around  the world stopped for a moment. And thought.
It was a moment like no other, when mankind paused at last to ponder life’s ineluctable mysteries, including their own mortality. Then Lady Gaga arrived. And the world was good.

A WINDOW TO LOOK THROUGH

She watches through her window, her little girl at play. Memories flood back to her childhood, of her yesterdays

As she tucks her gift into bed, and kisses her precious face
She says a prayer of protection, "Lord keep my child safe."

And as days turn months into years, she sees her little girl grow
She begins to realize that a time will come, the time when she must let go

Suddenly she hears a gentle voice-- saying, "No greater love is this,
Than what you've done for your little girl, go seal it with a kiss."

"Honey I want to kiss your face, but I know I can't by phone
While looking through your bedroom window, I began to feel alone."

"So many days through this very window, I'd watch you laugh and play
And I can almost see you tucked in bed, on those nights we'd talk and pray."

"Mom," her daughter uttered, "There's something I want to say...
You may not know how many times, I saw you watch me play."

"That window that you're looking through, is the same one God looked in
He saw you by my bed each night, when you'd tenderly tuck me in."

"So mom please don't feel all alone, you know I'll always be there...
Just like God is with you now, no matter the time, or place or where."

Her mother paused and then replied, "Sweetheart I know you're right...
You're grown, married and have a child, that you now tuck in at night."

"Mom, I better go now, I have some things I better do."
Her mom replied, "I know it dear, you've got a window to look through."

DREAMING CASTLES IN THE AIR

By Ton Pascal
Dreaming castles in the air certainly beats doing physical construction work, but if you are serious about bringing your dreams to completion, or if you are dreaming of a positive change in your life, you must get off your rear end and roll up your sleeves ready to do some work. Daydreams are nice, and they can enliven your daily life, but by themselves they are a weak source of energy. There is something called the Law of Attraction that has been around since the creation of the universe which has a lot do with bringing the dreams you have to fruition. You either take my word for it here, or you can search and learn more about it on the Internet.
As I just mentioned, even with the incredible power of the Law of Attraction working for you, sitting on your butt will not make your dreams come true. This great power only works when you do your part and truly believe in what you are wishing for.
From the very first day man was kicked out of Paradise, he has been relentlessly seeking the formula for the secret to true success. Everyone has their own opinions of what success is all about. Although there is no clear-cut formula on how to achieve this, I have a few tips on how to dream and live a successful life, which I hope will work for the majority of you. Don’t get too ambitious. Take it easy, like the line in the classic Cat Steven’s song “Miles from nowhere, I think I will take my time to reach there.”
Some of you might be very ‘cerebral’ and dislike physical preparation work. Others need to see a visual point of reference in order for their minds to function effectively. Either way, dreaming castles in the air is not a clear enough goal to ensure success. I suggest starting with a visual map of your intentions. Take a piece of cardboard and on write your dream in bold letters at the top. For example, “I want this house!” Or “I want this job!” Write down whatever you want in your life. Now cut out pictures from magazines, newspapers and or photos related to your dream-wish and paste them on this board. These images should clearly show your dream goal.
On the left side of this ‘Map-board’ write the steps needed to achieve this goal. For example if it is a house you want and you don’t have money, write down  “I want this house”. How do you find money? Despite the highly publicized recession this is a lot of if going around. Focus on your main objective: Your Dream House! If you truly believe you deserve and want it, you will get it. Think about what you can work on, sell or save? Make a realistic plan on how to achieve this goal. Write this plan on the ‘Map-board’.
Create a set of positive affirmations for this task. If we stay with the example for finding money”, the affirmation should be something like “Wealth is pouring into my life.” Or “I am making amazing progress towards all of my goals.”
These affirmations are your psychological support. The positive attitude to attaining your dream gives you a new and clearer purpose in life.  It will help turn your dream intentions into reality. Think about this dream very clearly and visualize it already realized, that you have achieved your dream house, or have your dream job.
If your dream is to get someone into your life, a partner, or a lover, you won’t find him or her by staying at home.  Write down, for example, “find a partner”, then on the left side of the ‘map-board’ write, “get out and socialize”. Whatever your dream is, write down the name of specific goal, and then themain road to get there. Visualize your goals and create positive affirmations for every step of the way towards achieving them. Give yourself time. It is your life you are creating, be patient. Don’t expect instant success.  Give yourself time.  This is your dream life you are creating, not a Hollywood movie.
Whatever age you are, you have acquired a certain living knowledge of what is good or bad for you. Apply to your life what you have learned up until now, but add to it your own individuality, personality, and joy de vivre.   It is not just being alive that makes your life worth living, but rather the depth and sense you bring to your life. Go beyond your limitations. Take a look at some of the great people who made an incredible impact in the world when they were told that either they were too poor, too inexperienced, too unattractive, or too weak to make it as a success in life. Terry Fox, one leg cancer amputee crisscrossed a continent on foot. Claude Monet slowly became blind from cataracts but still painted his masterwork The Nynpheas. Marlee Matlin, deaf from the age of 18 month, won the Best Actress Academy Award in 1986 for her debut performance in “Children of a Lesser God. Helen Keller, blind and deaf, became a noted speaker, author and crusader for pacifism, women’s right to vote and birth control. The list is very long.
Don’t forget to do your daily affirmations and think positive. A positive attitude will greatly influence your actions and add pleasure and quality time to your life.
Considering that life is short my advice to you is: break rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile.
Much love,
